The tobacco industry as such and the way we can talk about our products is highly regulated by the government in almost all countries across the world. Restrictions are particularly tough in Northern Europe, which presents us with a vast number of challenges. The goal of this session is to have an introduction on the tobacco industry itself, British American Tobacco plc in particular, the array of regulations we are faced with and how we manage to balance between satisfying the demands of our consumers and the demands of society. The presentation is followed by an open discussion in which you hopefully challenge our speaker, Thomas Baer, Head of Brands for Northern Europe, with your questions. The presentation is held in English.
