Members of the Jury

The Jury is made up of 14 highly skilled persons with different backgrounds. Varying from professionels from some of Denmarks largest and most prominent companies to internationally acclaimed academics. The diversity among the jury will ensure a fair and balanced assesment of the presentations.

 

The Jury of 2010 you will find below:

Thomas G. Schmidt
Partner and the location manager at McKinsey & Company’s Copenhagen office.

 

Mr. Schmidt holds a Master's degree in Finance and Management Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and has a degree in Economics and Business from France at l'Université d'Aix-Marseille.

Thomas Kempf
Head of HR at Saxo Bank.

   

Eva Berneke
Senior Executive Vice President at TDC, responsible for Group Strategy and Human Resources.

 

Before joining TDC Mrs. Berneke worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co and was Partner in their Paris Office.

Mrs. Berneke is furthermore member of the Copenhagen Business School’s Board of Directors.

Mrs. Berneke holds a Master of Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and has an MBA from INSEAD.

Jakob Askou Bøss
Director of Communication & Reputation at Dong Energy.

 

Before joining Dong Energy Mr. Askou worked as a Management Consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industry and at McKinsey & Co.

Mr. Askou holds a Master of Political Science from the University of Århus and has an MPA from Harvard University.

Thomas Reenberg
Partner and head of the Advisory group at PricewaterhouseCoopers and part of the PWC executive committee.

 

Mr. Reenberg holds a master of Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.

Kenneth Plummer
General Director of Radio Denmark/Danish Broadcasting Corporation.
Associate professor at Copenhagen Business School.

 

Mr. Plummer has held various positions at Disney, Mattel and Egmont.

Mr. Plummer has a Master in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Jess Søderberg
Deputy Chairman on Carlsberg’s board of directors. Advisor to the global Private Equity Permira.

 

Mr. Søderberg is former Group CEO of A.P. Moller - Maersk Group and was a member of JP Morgan Chase's International Council until recently.

Mr. Søderberg holds a Master in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Oscar Mosgaard
Co-founder of and Managing Partner at FIH PARTNERS.

 

Before joining FIH Partners Mr. Mosgaard worked as a Partner and a Managing Director in Carnegie Investment Banking.

Mr. Mosgaard holds a Master in Law from Aarhus University, an Executive MBA from SIMI, an AMP from INSEAD.  Mr. Mosgaard has studied as a postgraduate at Kings College, University of London, and participated in executive classes at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.

Mogens Bjerre
Associate professor in Marketing at Copenhagen Business School.
Teacher and an associate dean for Executive MBA.

 

Mr. Bjerre holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Strategy and a master in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Dr. Suzanne C. Beckmann
Professor of Market-oriented Management at Copenhagen Business School teaching in the master of Communication Management, EMBA and CEMS programs. Furthermore she is on the editorial board of five academic journals.

 

Mrs. Beckmann has been a visiting professor in Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom and in Austria. 

Mrs. Beckman has a Ph.D. in Economic Psychology from University of Hohenheim-Stuttgart and a Master in Nutritional Science from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

Morten Boje Hviid
Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Northern European Cluster, British American Tobacco (BAT).

 

Before Joining BAT, Morten Boje was partner in Public Affairs Group advising private business sector on stakeholder management, government relations and political issues. 

He has hold several positions as communications- and media advisor within public administration and politics, amongst others; Press Secretary to the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Press Secretary to the Minister of Defense, Personal Advisor  to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Personal Advisor to the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party in Denmark.

Lars Nørby Johansen
Former CEO of Falck and Group 4 Securicor.

 

Today Mr. Nørby holds various board positions in Danish blue chip companies such as Falck, Codan, William Demant, Georg Jensen and DONG Energy.

Mr. Nørby holds a Master in Philosophy from University of Århus.
